About Cayuga Hospitality Consultants Membership

Cayuga was founded more 30 years ago by graduates of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration. Today the membership continues to be a majority Cornell Hotel School educated or affiliated (though not a requirement,) and all are independent consultants and senior industry leaders with multi-disciplinary hospitality expertise and broad geographic knowledge.

It is our goal to provide our members qualified project opportunities, offer members exclusive marketing and public relations, and to be an organization that drives collaboration and thoughtful cooperation amongst its members, a resource for the membership and industry at large, and the most respected group of independent hospitality consultants. With our members we look forward to sharing the success that comes from a productive, engaged and professional organization.

Cayuga Hospitality Consultants lead each assignment personally, including from initial client contact and proposal through to delivery and implementation, if included in the assignment scope. Our consultants are dedicated to providing owners, developers, operators, and institutions with sound advice and performance-focused plans that result in high-impact outcomes.

The partners manage the business development initiatives, the incoming new consulting leads including a detailed qualifying process, distribute and track leads, and ensure timely lead follow up by members. Consulting members are expected to respond within 24-hours (or the next business day) as to their availability and interest, and 24-hours later to the client.

In addition to consulting assignments and referral fees, members are eligible to take advantage of benefits offered through our exclusive Partnership with The Cornell School of Hotel Administration, have exclusive access to the members of the network for knowledge and relationship/connection sharing, participate in a highly active and productive annual meeting and regular web meetings and educational programs, and receive and provide direct leads to other members of the network.
