What type of organization is Cayuga? Corporation, LLC, other...?
We are a network of independent consultants. A membership organization with an annual membership fee.
How much do you charge for your consulting services?
Our consultants are independent contractors and they set their own pricing based on scope of services required, project length, travel requirements, and other factors.
Who are your consultants?
Each of our members has been carefully selected to provide specialized services within the wide-ranging proficiencies required to own and/or operate a hospitality enterprise. The average member has 25-years of experience with much of their work being within the unique areas in which their consulting practice concentrates. Our members are located in key geographic areas domestically and abroad.
What consulting services does Cayuga offer?

How does the introduction to one of your experts work?
A managing partner of Cayuga will review your request within 72 hours of receipt and either contact you for more information, or in cases where more detailed requests are received from the client such as outline of project needs, complete contact information, and link to client website, one of our experts will contact the client directly.
Do you provide market feasibility studies for lodging and F&B?
We provide customized market feasibility studies that are “bank ready”. Our studies can be used to secure loans and equity financing.
What type of F&B expertise does Cayuga offer?
Cayuga’s expertise covers all tiers of F&B from fine dining and beverage service to staff cafeterias, events and catering, providing expertise in concept development, operations, human resources, financial needs, site evaluations, branding, and more.
Does Cayuga provide litigation support?
We have experienced expert witnesses in all areas of lodging, F&B and hospitality in general, as well as certified Mediators and Arbitrators, and specialists in contract negotiations.
We are a new organization and we need some help developing employee policy and procedure.
Our Human Resources consultants can provide customized Job Descriptions, Standard Operating Procedures, staff training, and interim leadership.
We are struggling, but we aren't sure what the problems are. Can you help us identify and solve the problems?
For a nominal fee Cayuga will perform a discovery analysis of your operations that will identify your strengths, weaknesses, and potential solutions.
Does Cayuga provide direct sales assistance?
Our sales and marketing experts are adept at identifying challenges and opportunities within one’s own team, and we also provide remote sales assistance available through and exclusive partner of Cayuga’s.
We are looking into a branding update, do you have experts to assist?
Yes, whether it is helping to identify and/or update your own unique brand or assist in selecting a regional or national flag to affiliate with, our experts are able to help.
Our business has lost market share and we need help to recover.
Cayuga’s marketing professional skills include research, positioning, revenue management, and digital marketing expertise to help you optimize your business performance, reputation, profitability, and market share.
We are evaluating a property/site for development or acquisition, how can you help?
From feasibility, market analysis, site plan review, to existing property evaluations from FF&E and mechanical/electrical/plumbing, and structural assessments, and identifying potential investors, guidance in deal structuring, and asset management, our consultants are skilled in all aspects of acquisitions and dispositions.
We are repurposing an existing building for redevelopment/renovation and need help in identifying scope of the project. Can you help?
Our teams of technical experts, engineering professionals, sustainability specialists, will work with development, architects, and contractors to guide projects large and small.
Does Cayuga provide task force or interim managment?
Yes, depending on the services required, either one of our member consultants is available or through our business partner interim management and task force at the Department Head and Executive level are introduced.
