Develop educational programs for hospitality managers that produce lasting behavior change in the work place. Work with corporate learning and development teams, government agencies, industry associations, and individual business units to determine operational priorities and how to address these in learning and development programs that generate results. Programs may be from a few days, to multi-week, to multi-year and can address specific organizational needs or be broad scope and cross discipline. Knowledge and technology from multiple sources can be integrated
"From 1996 to 2018 I led the executive education office at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. During that time period I led the development and production of the Cornell Professional Development Program, the Cornell General Managers Program, the Cornell Advanced Management Program, and over 200 custom programs for hospitality executives and managers from over 150 countries around the globe. I designed and produced programs at Cornell and at dozens of locations on six continents.
In the late 1990s I was part of a small team of academics and educators that developed the online learning concepts and early programs that ultimately became eCornell. I oversaw the development of over 50 online eCornell courses and many certificate programs.
I have worked with some of the largest hospitality companies in the industry and also have worked with smaller companies and trade associations. I have worked with government agencies in the US, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia."
