Engineering Consulting Services in the Hotel IndustryA Division of Cayuga Hospitality Advisors, Inc. Cayuga’s Hospitality Engineering Consulting Services Group is comprised of highly experienced consultants who specialize in helping hotel, resort, casino, conference center, club, spa and restaurant owners and operators realize the full potential of their physical assets and engineering operations. We are adept in dramatically improving property appearance, operating efficiency, expense margins and asset longevity through pragmatic execution of maintenance programming and capital reinvestment.

Richard Manzolina (Alexandria, VA)
A Senior Engineering/Facilities Executive with 18 years hospitality industry experience, specializing in helping owners and operators realize the full potential of their physical assets and engineering operations. Adept in dramatically improving property appearance, operating efficiency, expense margins, and asset longevity through pragmatic execution of maintenance programming and capital investment. Property level positions have included: Director of Engineering for the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD; Director of Property Operations for both the Capital Hilton Hotel and the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center; and, Senior Assistant Director of Property Operations for the Waldorf Astoria. At the corporate level, Richard acted as the Property Operations Cluster Lead Engineer for Hilton Hotels Corporation, leading a group of 17 engineering executives among five hotel brands across all market segments, from economy to 4-diamond. Richard has consulted for several lodging facilities in the area of facility maintenance, standards compliance and execution, and energy conservation. He is also a regular guest lecturer at the Cornell Hotel School.

Thomas Riegelman (Nashville)
Offering an extraordinary range of expertise in asset and facility management, with over 30 years managing corporate level hotel and resort operations. His 19 years with Hyatt Hotels Corporation as VP of Technical Services, and then VP of Engineering provided him with broad experience in all phases of hotel and resort planning, construction, engineering, and facility operations. Tom also served as a General Manager with the Prudential Realty Group, asset managing their $900 million Northeast hotel portfolio. After graduating from the Cornell Hotel School with a concentration in hotel planning and design, he earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.
